ohhhhh, what happened to the person who offered bail/QT for him? Is there any interest? I'm getting home on the 12th at night, so will try to help as much as I can on the 13th. Hope we can save him, he soooo deserves it.

Can the title of this thread be updated since it doesn't seem like the bail/QT offer backed out?

We all failed Lucky....he was in our grasp, he was ours for the saving, he needed us, and now we say RIP.
He is not dead ..yet. He is on his way to unspeakable horror while we get to go on with our lives. I thought I could save Lucky, I really did and I failed him no doubt about it and I will be sorry for the rest of my life.

Aleta..thank you so much for all the work you do. I am shocked Lucky was not saved and Victoria and Confetti. I know how much you try. I see you posting on both boards trying to get help.......but I guess there are no homes or money. I'm afraid it's only going to get worse. You're the greatest , and it's your heart that is suffering the most.

When were they shipped? I thought that the truck was coming Friday.
God be with them.

Unreal. I am being torn up on other forums for tranpsorting the horses all the way to NY, and this is what happens if I don't. I feel, too like I fail every horse that ships. My 7 are leaving Washington and coming home today. They will be here Friday. And when they unload off the trailer, the looks on their faces will make every cent paid SO worth it. It always does. The photos of the horses we lose are forever etched in my thoughts....some, like Painter are etched in my heart. I feel your pain Aleta, and have many, many times. Never stop fighting for the horses. We are able to change the world for some horses and that makes life worthwhile.
