~ Shipped to slaughter ~2 - 4 yr old, 15.3h, appy/TB cross gelding. This guy needs training. It appears that he has not had much done with him at all. He was not great in the halter and would not let us look at his teeth or lift his feet. He has an uphill build, has nice neck and movement. Sound at time of assessment. Needs formal training from the basics of halter training and giving to pressure however looks like he might make a nice sport-horse prospect. Hardship registration candidate. Update 11/29: Confetti has turned up lame at the lot. Chuck says it may be an abscess but we don't know for sure. He is not good about having his feet handled, so it may go unchecked at least for now. Sorry to have to report this. ~jen$ 750.00www.columbiabasinequinerescue.org/DEF-HorsesProfile.asp?HoID=1022PLACEMENT SPECIALIST: Sam Milbredt

Since he is a gelding and shows obvious Appaloosa breed characteristics you can get papers for him into the ApHC club. They are "hardship" because they don't have his breeding or anything.

This boy isn't even done growing yet, he will be a really big boy once he fills out. Come on, who is looking for a sturdy fella for riding? He would be great on either trails or the ring. Flashy, and will save you grooming time, since he has the Appy mane and tail thing going on.

I have made an update to Confetti's description. The poor guy turned up lame and as of now we are unsure of the cause.

OK, this guy is in real trouble .... he needs a Hail Mary play to save him.
We've saved horses having far worse problems then this. PLUS .... he's hubba, hubba hunky!
Can anyone take a chance and give him a soft place to land? I'm confident we can raise some of the funds.

There have been NO inquiries on this guy. I don't understand it. He's incredibly flashy and nicely built. Where are all of the Appy lovers?

This boy has a great build! I bet he would make a phenomenal cross-country horse! My first two horses were Appy/TB crosses and they could jump! Confetti is young and a clean slate... he just needs someone to work with him and he will be an awesome partner!!

The lot is always a muddy mess and horses running around etc. injury or something is not unheard of and shouldn't deter anyone.

I just want all these horses saved......We were able to save all 14 horses last time! Why can't we save these 7?

I just want all these horses saved......We were able to save all 14 horses last time! Why can't we save these 7? I'm thinking it's just the timing. It's not the time of year when people would be actively looking for a horse, although, I adopted my CBER girl in December . I'm a keen believer in fate and I know that many of you are working hard to get the information out on these horses. Please don't give up because we know that miracles do happen!

Man, I like his look! The BIG appy's are so cool, he's got the look that says he'll go100% for you. Ya know - that kinda ornery "get-er-done" Any news?

Barb in Virgina has offered to take 1-3 more horses if we can raise the bail and QT. She is getting ready for Frankie and George and Roper and Lennox....It sounds like a wonderful place for them all.
Can we start the ball rolling for these horses now? I don't know what is happening with the truck, but the sooner we get some money raised, the better.
I am making an offer here to anyone who can contribute at least $400 toward either Aries, Victoria, or Confetti or Lucky, I have a Shirley Temple doll from 1961, 12" vinyl with two outfits in very good condition...I was going to try to sell her on ebay to replenish my paypal, but don't have a digital photo yet and haven't really learned how to do ebay yet.....too busy posting ads LOL.

Come on...isn't there an Appy lover out there that wants to take this young horse home?? Probably just an abscess from all that mud! My gelding gets abscesses often when it's muddy for awhile.
