BBQ & SEABISCUIT TOUR

Benefit ride for Ridgewood T.R.A.I.L Riders Association, a therapeutic Riding Program (Teaching Riding as Access to Independence and Learning) on Beautiful Ridgewood Ranch, Hwy. 101, Willits, CA - Home of Seabiscuit
Ride includes: A.M.: Choice of 4 different rides (see descriptions below)
Afternoon: BBQ, Raffle, Seabiscuit Tour (optional)
Schedule: 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. - Check in and snacks
9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. - Trail Rides
1:00 p.m. - BBQ, Raffle
3:00 p.m. - Seabiscuit Tour
Description of Rides: (All rides are very scenic)
Ride #1 - Easy, flat ride, approximately 2-3 hours
Ride #2 - Moderate ride - east side of ranch with some mountain roads. Approximately 3-4 hours.
Ride #3 - Moderate ride - west side of ranch; approximately 3-4 hours
Ride #4- Ridge Ride - mountainous ride recommended for experienced riders with well conditioned
horses - approximately 3-4 hours
NOTICE
1. Alcoholic beverages or smoking ARE NOT permitted on the Ranch.
2. No stallions, please.
3. All minors (under 16) to be accompanied by adult (both to ride on same ride)
4. Maximum number of riders approximately 100 - being divided into smaller groups dependent on which group you choose (See descriptions above)
Some trail etiquette reminders:
1. Please keep with your group
2. Keep horses to walk, slow gait, or slow trot when necessary to catch up with group or pass.
No running on trails, please.
3. Let person know when you are passing.
4. Please do not crowd riders in front of you. One horse length between riders strongly recommended.
5. Please place red warning ribbon on tails of horses that may kick.
6. Please be courteous. We appreciate well-mannered horses.
Note: Family, friends and other non-riders are very welcome to attend the BBQ and Tour
Accepting up to approximately 100 entries.

Release and Hold Harmless
The undersigned who participate or who are present at the Ridgewood T.R.A.I.L. Riders Association Trail Ride understand and acknowledge that activities involving horses are inherently dangerous and could lead, but not be limited, to serious injury; paralysis or death. You assume all risks as stated by being present at the Church of the Golden Rule, Ridgewood T.R.A.I.L. Riders Trail Ride and BBQ and Seabiscuit Tour.
Release
The undersigned also agrees to release and hold harmless to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Ridgewood T.R.A.I.L. Riders Association, their Associates, Agents and Principles, the Property Owners Golden Rule Church Association and related organizations from any and all liability for loss, damage, injury, serious injury, paralysis or death the participant /observer their animals and to their property that may arise out of their participation in the Ridgewood T.R.A.I.L. Riders Association Trail Ride and BBQ and Seabiscuit Tour.
Hold Harmless
The undersigned further agrees to hold the above named organization and persons harmless and to indemnify the same from any and all damaged, losses, lawsuits and the cost of defending the same, that above named organizations and persons may suffer as a result of the acts or omissions of the undersigned to the fullest extent permitted by law.
