  4 -6 yr old, 15.1h, chestnut paint gelding. THis horse surprised us. he was difficult to catch almost acted like he might be wild and then all of a sudden it was like he just decided to be good. He rode well, gave to pressure, turned, backed... He is still a bit green but will make a great horse with some more training. Yeah, if I'd been dumped on a feedlot, I wouldn't want anything to do with humans either.
BUT ... the guy couldn't help himself and wanted to please.

Well, the last time he was caught was probably when he was loaded up and brought to the feedlot... I'd be reluctant to let someone catch me too.

Just looked at CBER's website and viewed all the pictures of this guy. Very classy, lots of chrome. . .with a mind! I once had a Morgan like him. . .always thinking up games to play. He especially played "catch me if you can" and it was frustrating for me but very stimulating for him.
Even with his playfulness and active mind, this guy must have sensed that these people were there to help him and he'd better show who he really was. I like him alot! Please, someone take him home. . .please.

He's very cute! And being hard to catch doesn't mean much, our older mare doesn't like to be caught either, but once she is, she's just fine.

We are going out to see Shrek today. Ryin is going to meet me at my house around 11a and we are heading to QT to visit him. Ryin is so excited and nervous. She had a ton of questions for me last night about blankets, brushes, etc.....I'll get her on the board ASAP.

Hi all, I'm Ryin, Shrek new owner  He is my first horse, but I am a long time rider. Owning a horse has been my dream and my goal since I rode my first horse, well it may have been a pony. Due to he is my dream come true, I am thinking of renaming him to Dreamer. Here are some pics I took of him at QT.   Ill be visiting him as much as possible so will keep you all updated |

Hi Ryin, thanks for saving this sweet sweet guy! Love the pics, and his nose is so KISSABLE! He's got great markings.
