Very pretty 2 - 3 year old, 14.3h, chestnut QH mare. This youngster was curious and allowed us to halter her. She actually got quite protective of us and did not want any of the other horses near us. She is well put together and nice on the ground. With time and training she will make a great horse. PLACEMENT SPECIALIST: Megan VanHollebeke - PLEASE NOTE THAT MEGAN HAS A NEW EMAIL ADDRESS: FishookRanch@peoplepc.com www.columbiabasinequinerescue.org/DEF-HorsesProfile.asp?HoID=642$600ADOPTER:BAIL PLEDGED:TOTAL BAIL PLEDGED: $ 0.00
TOTAL BAIL STILL NEEDED: $600.00

i wish i could adopt... but i don't think there would be enough room to keep her in my bathroom.. and the closet is already full.... When does the truck leave? maybe i'm just retarded, but has anyone said yet?

We haven't heard when the truck comes yet, but I have a feeling that it will be very soon...the FLO seems to be moving them right along...

What about this girl? SHe's so cute! We need to get the word out and get these horses placed soone rather than later - her perfect home is out there somewhere, they just don't know it yet.

Anyone that is considering any of these available lot horses should get their applications in now if they're not already approved, and contact the Placement Specialist to advise their interest and their approval status.
No word yet on the next truck, or how much notice we'll be given, but more than likely it will be soon.

And let's not forget this little gal either.....she might need a bit more polishing than Misty (Magenta Mist) but it's just mud! Like Misty she's friendly and curious - which is very important in gaining a young horses trust. Great prospect! I'm around most of the weekend, so if anyone wants to submit an application for her....please do so at www.columbiabasinequinerescue.org (for anyone that's new) *** need 2 references (minimum, and only one relative, please! *** need pics of the facility (hay storage, shelters, fencing, paddocks, stalls, etc. - anywhere the horse would be kept) *** pics of your current horses are a HUGE help (if applicable)

I hate it when there are some beauiful horses overlooked, Both Tropical and Magenta would make wonderful companions and great riding horses. Please lets not forget them!!! They only have another day!

Tropical Blossom, like the others needs home offers and bail by this afternoon, early evening, as well as QT if they're not adopted.

People on the Tim Woolley board are donating for these horses right now! (Magenta Mist and Tropical Blossom) Knowing these Fans I bet these horses will have the money they need in a few hours. They just need home offers. Somebody please....

This just isn't right. She doesn't belong on a slaughter truck. Does anyone know what is happening with this young one? Where are we in the pledges/donations/home/quarantine arrangements?

I love this little girl, I bet if someone took the time, three months or so.... to train her.. she would find a great home! Both Tropical and Misty. Wouldn't take much I bet, Her new owners could pay for her covering the cost...
