Hey guys, it is me......rascal e rabbit....Deb told me to jump on here. I will take both Huckleberry and Soft Kiss if I can get funding help. They need bails, quarrantine ( at Sam) and transport home. Here we go again! Trailer heading east in 6 weeks! Can anyone help? In case my signature is not right.....I am Christine. Amaryllis Farm Equine Rescue, inc. My site is not updated, but my proboards are: www.erabbit.proboards61.com Need help quick of course. I have full transport covered which is $2200 for both. I just need help bailing and then if possible with quarrantine at $18 a day for 45 days. Prohibitive costs, but these lives are worth it I believe......... I have brought in 15 from CBER and every one was an amazing horse.

I am here for him......it was easy to pull sponsors to help with the trailering for Soft Kiss from here because he HAD to be Arty's brother. The trailering is tough, but I can get Huckleberry here if he can get bailed. I cannot do the whole trailer, quarrantine and bail myself. I have been saving from this side of the country, but these horses are a little extra special. We cannot let Huckleberry ship!

No response..........should I give up trying? I was thinking to try to save Luminary as well. Does anyone have a better idea?

Don't give up trying. Maybe others are in the same boat as I now find myself. . .empty pockets until another paycheck. There are many people on this board and some of the new members may step up to help this time. He is one goregous boy! So is Luminary!

Okay- I have NOT heard anything regarding a shipment, however, if anyone is considering Huckleberry, Luminary or Pebbles, they should probably start making their decisions. Get your application in, send pictures, and let the PS know you're interested. I'm hoping we get notice before the next truck but there are never any guarantees, and these horses are all too nice to ship.

Let's get him bailed and into QT and off to his new home before the other horses are listed. He's just too cute, and looks like he's going to be a great buddy for someone!

You can usually send your pledge through the cber store once bail has been all met. Just watch his thread and once he is bailed go to the cber store and donate and make sure to mark that its for him. You will get an emailed reciept and you need to send that info to the placement specialist listed for him. By the way everyone be nice to Amber she is one of my oldest friends!!!She is a horse nut from way back is thinking about stepping up for a rescue horse in the near future

No. The CBER Store doesn't work for donations anymore. You need to use the PayPal address. I, personally, send my donations via snail mail. . .which does create some problems. . .but, I'm good for my word and my pledges so it has worked out.
Huckleberry does have a home offer. He needs to get out of there.
I pledge $25.00.

I'm not CBER. . .but, she's adopted 15 from CBER and I believe Soft Kiss is going to her. She will take Huckleberry at the same time.

Sam said that quarrantine is going to be difficult with him because he has not been handled. Also, I cannot take a stallion.................they said he was gelded, now he is an unhandled stud, I won't be able to get a trailer to truck him this far.......someone else took Soft Kiss and Luminary already. It is $1600 to trailer one horse here, you get discounts per horse when several travel.........can't someone in or close to Washington jump in here?! He needs some TLC and I am 3000 miles away. I wanted Soft Kiss and thought they were both gelded and buddies, so I am thrown a little off here. We need bail remaining, transport...whatever it turns out to be and quarrantine/meds/vet/gelding. Do we have a seriously financially well heeled individual out there? If I can get ALOT of help, I will take him. Any donations to CBER or ME are TAX DEDUCTIBLE!!! I am handling 33 horses right now, 5 new in the last 2 weeks and am doing the best I can, I want to help, but all that needed money is just not there. I don't know what to say. The average "save" from CBER cost me $2500 before they were home. Some where alot more. The last 4 I got help with 3 of the bails and a good amount of help with the quarrantine. But still cost $6000 by the time they got home. I am willing if I can get really good help.........thank you all for caring. We can only do our best.
