Cindy (Available) Age: 20 years Height: 15.1hh Sex: Mare Breed: - x Adoption Fee: $725 Contact Placement Specialist ~ Sam: cberpres@nwinfo.net20 year old, 15.1h, chestnut mare. This mare followed Jeff everywhere and was super, super, super gentle. A great confidence builder tat just about anyone could ride. She allowed Jeff to do just about anything on her and around her, but one should not try these tricks at home. (Jeff is an experienced horse trainer and knows what to and what not to do with horses.) She has an old wire cut and was not 100% sound, but she is so gentle that one would be silly to overlook her. Contact: Jeff at 509-654-4150 after 12PM till 7 PM.

No, I didn't yet. I'm offering a home because I have an empty spot in my pasture piece for one more horse that was taken by Lily, but now is open. I don't have tons of money, and really just taking on another horse would be making me work extra hours at work, but I hate to see these horses not finding homes. It's hard to find homes for horses in winter, especially now that hay prices are up.. and well, I can't do a lot, but I can offer a safe, loving home. *shrug* I'm already horse poor, but if you all want to help me save one more, well.. I've got a destination for one of these girls... I'm not sure if I should fill out an application for Speckle or Cindy..
Modified to add that I live in California, and I'm going to be hauling + doing coggins... which I can do.. but with the rules being that adopters have to pay either bail or QT, it would have to be CBER's call on if I would be allowed to adopt one of them, or not

Does that mean someone else offered a home to Cindy? I know you offered it to either one, but we are trying to raise some money on ABR and I am telling the FOBs it is for Cindy. Please tell us there or here who has the home offer(s)
Thank you and thank you so much for helping to save one of these horses.
Aleta
We have raised $60 so far as a start..............

I will be adopting either one of them. I put in an official home offer for Speckle. She has a home offer before me, so I am the backup home for her. If that adoption goes through, I will be taking Cindy.

Stacie just called and we talked. She told me Speckle (my first choice) had a home offer that looks like it is going to fall through. I was contacted by Sam, but I haven't gotten back to her yet. Stacie told me she will be contacting Sam and Wendy to make sure my app gets approved, but I have to get out the door to go take pictures of the place she will be staying so I can be approved. In the mean time, the final word is this:
If Speckle is still available, which she might be, I will be working towards adopting her. If she has a home, the money raised will go towards Cindy. I'm not sure where money should be sent..? If anyone has anything info contact me on my cell while I'm out. 510-432-3550 and my name is Andrea Smith. Let's try to get a horse saved!
