If there is a home offer on the table, with the pledges already in plus the Angel fund, maybe we can save this boy. If you are on the fence and have room, please don't hesitate.

This is my fritst time on this board although I have been a FOB for awhile. Is there any time left for Tubby? I'm willing to put in 200$. Wow, thank you so much fellow FOB for coming to the rescue for gorgeous Tubby. You may very well make the difference for him today when all monies are added up. FOBs are sooooo generous!!! Thank you for coming over here to the RO board to help him.

I saw a posting on Craigslist for a family looking for an older trained gelding. They are willing to provide references and so on, so I sent them information on Tubby. They are north of Boise, so not terribly far away. HOPING.

Not sure what the pp fee's are, so Tubby will get what ever is left of my donation, after the fee's are taken.

The Pay Pal fees are 3%, tfrancis. If the horse does not have to cross state lines, then it can be QT at home I believe, but I will be corrected if that is not the right response! Most of the local vets won't sign a health certificate (required for travel) for a horse that comes off a lot without knowing it has proven healthy over at least a 30 day period. There have been some serious strangles issues from the lots and at some auctions.

Please clarify, has anyone contacted the placement specialist yet to let them know we have money coming in for him? I contacted Shawna and told her that I had pledged $50 for Tubby and asked her to let me know if he was going to be able to be pulled so that I made sure to send in the pledge... so, she knows there is *something* going for him, but I highly doubt that she knows yet that there is this much activity.

I offered a back-up home to Tubby and Otis, but if someone else wants to adopt them before their QT is over, then I will certainly step back. And if not, then I will come up with the $$ to bring them to SD !!
I hope that clarifies things !?
Thanks for all your help ! Gabi - SD
