5 - 6 year old, 16h, bay TB mare. This mare has swelling in her left ankle and a bump in the middle of her head. She was quiet to tack up and nice to ride, she is still green and basically track broke but it would not be hard to finish her. If sporthorse enthusiasts are interested in this mare a prepurchase exam is suggested to confirm the level of damage in her ankle. Please contact Tash Johnson for more information.EMAIL:sand_tiger@hotmail.com $695.00HOME OFFERS: afinenettle if application approved QT PLEDGES:$ 50.00 patrolhorse pledged transferred from Kiva Glow $ 50.00 gratefulknits $ 45.00 MustangAppy transferred from Neon _________ $145.00 QT Pledges BAIL PLEDGES: nancik has pledged partial bail if home offer made... It is VERY worrisome to me that these threads are seeing very little traffic...
These are some very nice, mostly trained horses that need to get off the feedlot in a hurry!

She is another one that makes me wish I had another stall. If I did she'd be coming home to be spoiled with my other bays. She is gorgeous!

Kate, congratulations! You can count me in for $50 for QT; just let me know when and where to send it! After all you've done for so many horses, I'm glad I can help them return the favor!
Hope

I have talked with a CBER volunteer and all they need is pics of Harvest Moon Ranch where I will board her. The word formality was used since they know alot about the place she would be kept. Just got a message from Michelle that they will make some room for her there - which is really nice of her - she hasn't know me that long. Woah nellie. I think I just got married during one of those saturday night benders....

SWEET- so pretty much all we need to do then is raise another $155 for Cherry B's QT and she's outta there!
I am going to transfer MustangAppy's pledge from Neon (who was outright adopted) to Cherry B's QT.

Kate, I will donate $50 for her QT. But, it's been a while; can you rebrief me on CBER's paypal address? Throughout their website, I can't find it anywhere!
Revised -
$50 payment made. Still would be good to have the PayPal address on the web site, instead of just going through the link.

Airy is just the beginning. You are going to be in the growth period of your life, congrats! I'm sure your head will start to clear sometime in the next six months, probably about the same time you adopt your second horse. Patrolhorse, we are pretty much out of space but I may be able to squeeze you into the minis stall, they said it would be ok as long as you brought them food.

A very big thank you for all your support in my adopting Cherry Blossom. I did not know if she had been pulled till last night. It was a very difficult day with lots of physical ramifications....you all know the drill. She is the first horse I have ever had. My heart is sick for those we lost, as it always is.
Here is the next level of work for those who are discouraged with the treadmill of trying to save horses that are overbred for the slaughter machine. Many of you may be already on this effort. Stephanie sends out a daily call/fax list. She makes it really easy and keeps you informed on progress - and there IS some, which is important to hear. So you kin help manifest the world where our horses do not get shipped to slaughter by signing up for her emails and spending a half hour when you can to make the contacts. Stephanie Breaux" <sbreaux1@verizon.net>
It helps the heart.
