rescuetoribbons- you are one very smart young lady! Please tell your parents that they are doing a wonderful job raising you...they must be VERY proud. And I am so proud of you for being willing to stand up in between the "big kids"........and say enough is enough... (And since your parents are so proud of you, I bet you can get them to let you adopt another horse... ! Just kidding, kiddo! ;D ;D) Well thank both of you! I really liked these mares and just hate to see our board like this.... it is supposed to be a happy place where I come to get cheered up, not drug down others!! We all know in the end we all love eachothers! ;D By the way.... I tried with the another horse thing..... she just said Proud does NOT = rich!! oh man!!

One last remark about this and I will not say another word. Lynn was not lieing. Chuck told Heidi she could buy the mares and then changed his mind. I have dealt with him personally when we pulled the Twin mares. He is not a nice person. End of story. We were also going to get Solstace pulled at the same time. We had the money already forwarded to Heidi. I have a wonderful home in Oregon just waiting for Solstace. Um, she lied to me.

Hi All, Just wanted to let you know that Naomi & Britany are doing well. Naomi has a snotty nose and both mares have been put on penicillin. Jeff and I groomed them, poor gals they were pretty muddy and their manes and tails were so knotted. They have a few superficial scratches and a few lumps. They are eating well and have settled in nicely. Thanks, Sam

I like keeping this thread on a positive note. Let's keep it up. Can we now work on saving Marley and Solstace?

Jen...I do not know what you are talking about in the lying part.
Have you talked with Sam to let her know that we can get Solstace off the lot and safe? If so, what is the status? Lynn

Sam - I am wondering where these mares came from if you could make small talk with ole Chuckaroo. As I study them closer they look ALOT like Cherry Blossom (I have adopted Oct 07) The one right down to the white right hind sock; dark bays, the lighter noses, the conformation and face. They look like Cherry does now with her winter coat. She had just been pulled from a foal as well when I got her. I read her tatoo and I think she is Bold Score; from a well known trainer in the LA area. I bet they are related.
If so dont let the mud fool ya; these gals will be EXTRA gorgeous in their svelte bods and summer do's by next season. And one and all are charmed by Cherry's (Rhiannon's) disposition. A sweeter, more intelligent horse would be hard to find. I lucked out.

Their lineage was posted on the ABR board - assuming these are the same mares Mary (in Ohio?) was tracking.

I'm talking with a gal here in Tri cities...after some dna testing is complete we may have papers & breeders certs on both mares...wouldn't that be amazing..keeping my fingers crossed its the same mares.

I got back on here so I could say this in person. I HAVE NOT spoken with a Lynn at PMR about the pg mares, I HAVE NOT collected money from anyone. I have been gone this week in Spokane with my husband. Early in the week I called Chuck to tell him if CBER did not place the mares to let me know because I would hate to see them ship. After that, HE told Sam I called and she posted that fact, which was fine, I made a perfectly kind offer. After that, THEN other people knew I too had wanted to help the mares and started using my name in things I knew nothing about. Maybe they had my name confused with Deb as I have found that she said she was willing to help a Lynn, I have no idea, but I repeat, they have it all confused and befuddled. Chuck was fine with me, I did not send anyone to the lot and did not have anyone else call him. He called me when I was in Spokane and told me someone from a far away area code called him on the mares and he doesn't want to deal with them. He told me someone came to the lot when he was gone. He was mad that they would do that. It wasn't me, I repeat, I was in Spokane. So then he knew that I had nothing to do with that deal. He told me if Sam did not place the mares then I could save them, I told him fine, just let me know. If anyone has a question about me or what I do, please contact me in person, I will not lie. Do not believe everything you read on the internet. In this instance, my only original goal was to make sure they didn't ship. Because of all this, tonight a different gal called me to ask about saving Solstice. I have not collected money for him, and I have not asked Chuck about him. Once again, if you have questions for me, email me as I will not come on here much now, just wanted to set this straight from the "horses mouth"so to speak.

I believed what I read, too. I figured you were just cooperating with what was expedient to get the mares off the lot. Sorry!
I learned my lesson. I'm going to hide my head in the sand and stay here with you guys. I can't handle the lies and exploitation (what do YOU call it, Darla?) on the AB board. I'll stay close minded if what's spread over there is the truth.

Good Morning,
Heidi has made a wonderful remark! Do not believe everything you read on the internet.
While I have your attention and we are taking about not believing everything you read, know that if CBER stops accepting the help of a volunteer there is a very good reason behind it. People offer to help CBER and CBER has blindly accepted the help, well that is a thing of the past. One by one we are weeding out the detrimental volunteers. Heidi of course does not fall into that category! So remember CBER will always take the higher ground and not get bogged down with unprofessional slander, back stabbing, speculation or any other disgusting behavior. Try to trust CBER, I know it is hard with all the s---t out there but we are dedicated to the horses have their best interest in mind and have been very success in saving horses and will continue to do so. Trust that there are reasons (really good reasons) why we let people go.
I would not trust people that hide behind a fake name, they are too spineless to say who they are and that unknown identity gives them a cloak to hide behind to be nasty, lie, speculate and basically set a poor example of the rescue community. Now, you guys know who I am talking about it, it is no one here on this board but the "terrorists" that plot at the demise of CBER and other feedlot type rescues on other boards. They are not interested in the horses well being that is obvious from their actions.
I am off to my parents house for my morning tea and news from the world.
What we need to be doing at this point is focus on the rest of the horses listed. I will be listing a new bay TB geld, that most likely just came off the track. It was my understanding that he was not buying anymore.....
Thanks,
Sam

Sam,
Thanks for the photos of the mares.
If this new TB gelding is quickly listed today, then we still have only until tomorrow to save him??
Who is still at the lot?
We all need to finish any of these horses up today if possible with funds.
