I have ads for him on horseville, equinehits, and dreamhorse now.
I pray really hard he gets some inquiries. We cannot lose anymore horses.....

I got this whole thing started because I posted the offer to geld on the wrong page. My bad. No bad, djrepp, I was already thinking from this photo that he might be intact still. That's why the vet info could be relevant. Thanks!

Its not a big deal, i guess someone needs to go out and check. He does look swollen. I just hope someone gives him a home. What a way to start your life. It sucks?

Sam called about my app and she said Caiden was gelded by the FLO. All's well. If no one else grabs him by tomorrow, and I sure hope someone does(!) I'll be bringing him home after quarantine. Aw, what's one more horse, especially such a little one. ;D

Having a crisis on my farm today, one farmhand in the hospital with (I hope only) a knee injury, tractor tipped over and ohter farmhand's car stuck in mud and tangled up in my New Zealand cattle fencing, but am going to email Caiden's PS right now to let her know I'll PayPal his fees this evening. Thanks, everyone, for all the support! I'll let you know what happens.

Ok, all fees are paid. Tash had to help me mightily because PayPal didn't want to accept the second payment that covered the QT and hauling fees. She's brilliant! Sam will haul Caiden to QT tomorrow and all will be well. It's funny, the last thing I wanted at this time was another horse, but now I can't wait to see my new little boy! I'll post again when I know something more. Thanks, all!

Oh no!! Please let us know how your farmhand is!!!!! And thank you again so much for helping Caiden out!! My farmhand & I are sooooo lucky. He's been strapped into a full leg brace and given painkillers and told to rest it for a couple days before coming back to work. He only messed up the ligaments in his knee a little bit. When I saw how he tipped the tractor it could have been so much worse - he could have cracked his head on one of the many rocks or been pinned under the rollbar. These guys scare me to death sometimes...I don't want to be responsible for them anymore!

Yikes, sounds absolutely frightening. Glad he's going to be okay. Now that you have saved farm hands and a cute little baby horse, I say you deserve a nice glass of wine and a relaxing evening

Thanks caryn. I had this email after Caiden was moved to QT: "Caiden arrived safe and sound! He has a small cur on his left hind and I have doctored that. It is superficial so no worries. He also took his wormer like a champ." That's my boy! Seriously, I can't wait to meet him. They promised to send photos every 10 days while he's in QT, I'll post them here when I get them. I can't wait to see him CLEAN.

I picked him up from QT last Wednesday. He's a sweet, sweet boy, and very calm - nothing seems to faze him. This is going to be fun! I took these pics Friday. It's tough to keep enough distance to take his photo because he just loves being loved on. Once I turned him into the pasture he had better things to think about.
