Hi everyone,
I just got in from the vet (1:45am) I have a cat that was blocked. Bladder the size of a grapefruit. He was in this morning to get "plumbed" and sent home with meds to see if we could manage it. We couldn't, so back we went tonight. It was obvious he was uncomfortable and when the put the cath in he was pee-ing blood. So, I'd really appreciate jingles for Gandalf. He's a big (14 pound) fluffy "recovering feral" so you know being admitted to the hospital is very scary for him. I suggested they keep him mildly zoned - to keep them safe, and to keep him from being too stressed out.
Earlier today I was supposed to meet my vet remove Kaleigh's caslick, but I had to cancel due to the cat crisis. We'll get it on Monday. When I finally got up there this afternoon she was out grazing (what a surprise - eating : and her rather large belly was dancing a jig!! The baby was really going to town. She's looking great - starting to bag up a bit, nothing dramatic. I still think she'll have a Valentine baby.
I'll post pics tomorrow. I can barely keep my eyes open now. And, you might recall - "Caly and technology are un-mix-y things" under the best of circumstances.
Sorry I've been so MIA lately - work is a b*tch in January. I don't do taxes so April is ho-hum yawn, but I do corporate (and non-profit) so January is year-end close, 1099's, W-2's, etc. Ugh. Anyway, I'm kinda back. (Pregnant horse and cats nonwithstanding.)
And, I do appreciate prayers and jingles for Gandalf (the Grey).
