What the hell is the matter with people? Difficult colt? Give me a break!
He's in my neck of the woods and I can go check him out if anyone is interested.

I have a problem colt that I want to sell/rehome. He has been handled very little in his life.
The good:
He is 5 years old now and 15 hands, flaxen +sorrel, blaze + socks.
He is sound and healthy with good conformation.
He is elegible for breeding stock registry with APHA (Paint).
He has never been sick or lame.
He has excellent bloodlines. His dam is an AQHA AAA+ race mare that set a new track record.
His sire is an APHA with excellent show record and offspring show records, including APHA World Champion roper.
He is easy to catch and halter and lead (but he is still a handful).
Current on worming, but not on shots.
No Impressive bloodlines. He does not have any other bad habits like cribbing, wind-sucking or weaving.
The bad:
He has only one descended testicle. Surgery to geld costs $$$. I don't know if he only has the one or if there is another tucked away up high. The Vet (Dr. Brian Johnson) saw him as a yearling and could not feel the second one, even when we sedated the colt. (Vet said sedation can make the colt relax enough to drop down. He didn't). The Vet also said sometimes they drop if you wait a bit longer and let the colt mature. It didn't. The only Vet in this area that does this type of gelding is Dr. Randy Lee (Ridgefield).
He is not registered (but he could be). I have the registration application here. It was never sent in.
He has -never- been tied or trailered or clipped. You will start from scratch in these areas.
He nips and acts like a stallion with few manners. Not malicious or mean, but definitely rude and pesky.
I cannot handle his feet without him nipping me on my backside. Right now his toes are embarrassingly long.
He is standing around in the mud right now so he is a muddy, furry mess.
His name is Butthead. He earned it.
He is not suitable for a 4-H project nor would I recommend him for any one but very experienced owners or a trainer.
He has the potential to be a very athletic performer. Once gelded he should settle into the nice temperament of his sire and dam.
I could probably get him in my trailer and moved somewhere for you. He has been unhandled due to my own health issues. My untimely knee surgery when the colt was young meant he was left to himself all too often. I am heading off to the coast for the weekend (spring break, you know). I will take a few pics when I get back on Monday. I have had lots of emails about this colt. Some people seem sincere and I will return your emails when I get back.
What I want out of this colt is enough to make sure he doesn't end up as alpo. Will consider offers seriously. Trades/barter whatever. As long as there is value so he doesn't go somewhere to be sold by the pound. I don't want any animals in trade. Honest.
Any takers??
