there is a 19 year old appy, great with kids, who can still ride on the flat, but not hills (injury)...
his owner has gotten parkinson's disease, and can no longer care for him. I do not know any more of his condition, but she is calling rescues looking for a home for him.

There are so many so-called "rescues" these days that are not good places to end up...
