Equine Protection of North America - E.P.O.N.A.'s Mission is to rescue and provide a safe haven for horses of all breeds who are abused and neglected, as well as those destined for slaughter, rehabilitate them and place them in responsible and caring homes. E.P.O.N.A. also provides a comfortable and therapeutic environment for a limited number of permanently retired horses. In addition, E.P.O.N.A. seeks to educate the public about horse welfare issues and the proper care and training of horses.
