Ok..my deal is.....I don't need another horse. So if there is someone out there that thinks she would be perfect for them.....be my guest. So go ahead and leave the ads up. I still need to figure out how to get her down here....so that will give me some time. Leave me as back up home offer for now.

LOL...My second adoption kind of went like this one, Tasha. My "Dream" girl was listed the day of the truck. I bailed her and said, "I don't need another horse". Wendy said she had some interest from someone local that wanted a hubby horse, so I said okay. They passed on her which still puzzles me!!!! Anyway, within 2 days, I had officially adopted her. That's 2 years ago this April and I've never regretted it. I couldn't love her more and without her there would be a big whole in my life. She's also my injured boy's companion now. They're perfect together. So I thought I didn't need another horse, but turns out I really did need a "Dream"  |

LOL! Same for me. Didn't intend to get ANY horse, but brought Kaleigh (CBER Tabby) to CA to put some weight on her and find her a good home. Guess she found one. LOL!
Last May Angel (CBER Sunrise) wasn't working out where she was - she had a frou-frou barn but NEEDS to be on pasture in a herd to be happy/sane. So...I took her intending to find her a home....just as the horse market here tanked. So, guess I found her a home too!
Angel and Kaleigh are best buds now, and I'm so glad they have each other. Angel is very herd savvy. Kaleigh....isn't. Angel looks out for her and is teaching her the ropes. Both of them are doing so well...and part of it is they have each other.
Glad you decided to go for it!

Poor girl.....she is SO skinny. Her chest bones stick out. Another month in sunny Cali and she will be good as new. I guess it was 20F in WA when she left, and it was 100F here the last two days. I felt so bad for her with that winter coat. She appreciated the hose a lot. Oh, and here is a picture of Aries wondering why someone else is getting attention instead of her. Aries has lost some weight and the girls are riding her a couple times a week. She looks really good now.  |
