6 - 8 year old, 15.1h, bay paint type mare. She was a little hard to catch but once caught she was willing. She is quite nice but acts like she does not know much. She will most likely need to be started. Right now she appears to have a fungus or hives. A vet exam might be the best option to determine what she ailment she might have at this time. I would bet money that the little bumps on her are from allergies....a good spot on fly medication and some hydroxazine and or Dex would clear it up....We have people coming into the clinic daily with this same problem....I have 4 with allergies this year!!! Of course, it is always recommended to have your vet check it out!!

Thanks so much for your offer - how kind of you. I already have an application approved & am adopting Regatta  ) & am planning on adopting a bombproof horse, when one is available. I was also planning on adopting Sweet Pea, so my friend & I thought we'd help out Sweet Pea's buddy, Aqua Bay. However, I learned that Sweet Pea might not be started yet, so sadly, I won't be adopting SP. Helping rescue slaughter bound horses has been a dream of mine for many, many years & am so glad I can help in some way. |

Yup! $400 is NOT MUCH left! We need to find a bigger crew for this mission!!! And ones with deep pockets ;DAnd big hearts :DAnd lots of land I told someone the other day when they asked how my husband dealt with my ridiculous horse schedule....that he CANNOT divorce me because cannot afford an attorney...the horses has all his money ;D ;D ;D Actually the horses have all my money, my relative's money, my friend's money.........funny how it spreads. Now everyone I know is broke.........but an awful lot of horses are sure living the good life!!! |

Timwoolleyracing is working on the qt/bail for some of these guys, but they can only help the ones with home offers (so Aqua Bay is not included!)! Can somebody offer a home?

Who is Timwooleyracing & which ones is he working on? It appears that this gets to be very confusing at the 'dead'-line approaches!
Can anyone tell us who for sure is safe & who is not?
As far as I can tell, Tiger, Aztec, Duke, Peter, Trolley, & Harbor are safe. Is that correct?
If so, does that leave 'Little R, Sweet Pea, Aqua Bay, Chickadee & Yukon still at Risk??
Also, I think Yukon only has $199.25 bail plus QT - Oh soooo close!

Tim wooley racing is a website that the friends of Barbaro gather on and try to help those horses in need around the nation. I looked and don't see Sweet Pea or Aqua Bay on there, but I am not fluent on the threads..........I would just email Shawna or any PS direct at this point to be sure. Or call CBER.
