12 - 14 year old, 16.3h, Percheron mare. THis gentle giant is very sweet and kind. She is trained to drive and is responsive on the ground. Easy to handle with just a rope as a halter. She was sound at time of assessment. The camera battery was running out so I did not get photos of her picking up her feet but she willingly lifted both her front and hind feet. You know April, I was wondering the same thing.
This is a gooooooood lookin' horse! If I weren't already looking at Cookie, I would be definitely lookin' at this girl. If Cookie doesn't work out, she's next on my list!!!!!

If she becomes in danger of shipping, even if I get Cookie, contact me. I would still have room if she makes bail! We couldn't ever let her ship!!!!!!

I think you should take both ;D. She isn't too old, she has a nice classic draft look (minus the heavy feathers though), she's black, and if she isn't already broke to ride, she'd probably be really easy to train ;D.

I would take them both if I could. I can't afford 2 new horses.
Right now I own 4. Two are registered TWH mares, 7 and 13 years, a 7 year old 1/2 Arab that has just been put under saddle and a yearling TWH colt (soon to be gelding!). The colt and the 1/2 Arab are for sale.

I think I saw somewhere that a truck is due on Saturday!!!!! My offer of a home still stands. I may be able to pitch in a bit for bail, but not much. At any rate, I have the space if she needs the home!

The truck mentioned for Saturday is the OTHER feedlot...there are four CBER horses on it...Sox, Dell, Patches and.....

I would give her a home offer too......I would need bail to be covered and somone to help me break her to ride for my husband. He really wants a Percheron and would love to have her. I just can't come up with the money right now, I'm still recovering from the $1,500 I spent on Serengeti.

I contacted Heidi. I can come up with about $200 for her, but it's not enough to save her and get her QT'ed. I don't even know how much it is for QT. We'll just have to wait and hope. I don't want to see her ship, but I just don't have the money to take care of all of it.

I contacted Heidi this morning. She was going to check with whoever has Rhapsody in QT and get back to me. So far, nothing else. That's all I know.
If I'm not the one, I would like to know so I can concentrate on someone else that might need help.
