Lenex (Available) Age: 20 yr Height: 14h Sex: Gelding Breed: Pony x - Adoption Fee: $575 Contact Placement Specilialist - Wendy: cberwendy@earthlink.net This guy rode nice, is sound still has get up and go! He was very responsive, neck reined, backed turned, was tolerant for tricks however he has a bit too much spunk for a beginner. He has a nice disposition and was good to handle on the ground. Sound at time of assesment.

It really is horrible that at his age, and after years of service, he ends up disposable like garbage.
Most things alive get lucky breaks here and there -- he needs his break *NOW*. He deserves it. If he's adopted, then they don't "win", and he gets to learn peace, love, security and joy. If he goes to slaughter, it's about the saddest ending I can envision.
He's looking for somebody to step up and put the humanity back into his world -- isn't this his turn to know the true magic humans can make?
Lenex, I wish for you to know more people care than don't, and it's the truth. Hang in there, cutie, and don't lose your spirit!

I have 150.00 to send for Lenex. My husband agreed to make 3 gifts for extended family be 50.00 a piece toward saving a horse's life.  This oldie but get-up-and-go goody is just tugging at my heart. They all are, it kills me to "choose". Just have to ask for a few nice photos for him, which I'll frame for each Xmas gift, and a little story of what's known about him to go with it. I'll do some artsy thing, and a certificate of some sort. I'm in the midst of doing buckets for the boys, so I will paypal when I'm through. Wow. And I literally don't have an extra dime due to Cloud and Xmas, but the lightbulb went off. I think it'll be about the best gift I ever came up with to give to a person. Em OK - we have a backup offer on ABR.......so we are starting to ask for money for him...
