Trevor participated in our training today, and got some training himself. We took the boys for a walk, and he did awesome, there was a steer, kids running around, dogs barking and running to the fence, ATV's.... no big deal. He did so wonderful, he sure is pretty level headed.

Trevor is becoming quite the pro in getting blanketed. He "adopted" Merlin's blanket from last year. It only took a little bit to get him used to it. I guess him sticking his nose into it last winter when I put it on Merlin helped him not being so scared of it. He loves having it put on, and staying warm in it. It has been rather chilli at night, so I'm glad he's staying toasty.

I think we need new pics of "little" Trevor and his buddy Merlin. They look like they have so much fun together! I got to meet him briefly before he went down to So Cal. He was a cutie. I love his mom too. I met Muffin a couple of times. She was an absolute sweetheart and it looks like the apple isn't falling far from the tree

I will work on some nice pictures this weekend. Trevor just went through another growth spurt, he is still lanky, but you can tell he will fill out eventually. They're having fun playing with the Mustang babies, and Trevor is a great teacher to them, as he loves to come up for attention, and the Mustangs will just follow him. He is a really calm, level-headed youngster.

so I have the most spoiled rotten horses....
Last night, I got home a bit late, and BF was feeding, he calls me and sais, Merlin and Trevor are not eating, they're standing at the fence, just staring at me. So when I get home, all horses are standing there staring, none of them were eating. Which is odd, they usually are such pigs. Checking their hay piles, I see he fed them only Bermuda... Those boogers wanted their Alfalfa. As soon as I threw the alfalfa in their bin, they all dove right in. I couldn't beleive it, they probably would have eaten away eventually, but for all of them to stand there, face the house, and not eat, it was to funny.

I really need to start video taping Trevor he is such a character. He always has to be right in the middle of things. Yesterday I cleaned their paddock, and he walked right in the middle of the pile. so when I tried to clean that up, I shooshed him, and what does he do? He lifts up one leg, so I could clean that area. Would he move? No. I think he actually wanted to get his scratches, he looooves to get his shoulder scratched, makes the funny, goofy horsey face ;D
