10 yr old, 16.3h, bay TB gelding. This horse is super, super nice! He will make an excellent sport-horse prospect!!!! He already goes on the bit and responds to leg. He has a huge flowing stride and a collected canter. I can just imagine him competing!!!!! Sport-horse enthusiasts do not miss out on this one. Yes, rescuetoribbons DOES need a larger horse but...she just adopted Chia. I don't think her mom will go for 3 horses!

Yes, rescuetoribbons DOES need a larger horse but...she just adopted Chia. I don't think her mom will go for 3 horses! Or 4...if Chia is pregnant! Even though Chia is shorter than her other horses, she is rounder, so maybe Tarra's legs will fit her better, although I think Tolo is tall enough for her. ;D Stacey (Alyssa's mom)

Well I would LOVE a 2nd horse but....I might have to drop out of school to pay for it! This boy would fit the bill though! And...my eventer did just turn 16....too bad I love him and don't ever plan on selling him. :)Then I could get another horse.

Hasinger, Have you seen Colfax, is he sound, clean legged? Do you have more information on him. Would love to pay for him just want to make sure he is ok and sound. Modified: If you look at the picture of him his left front foot looks funny or am I seeing things? ??

Chocolatemoose, I hope Sam has been in contact with you since she is more likely to have seen that hoof close up...do you think that its just that low heel, long toe trim that they often get at the track?

I did talk to Sam this morning and she said he is in need of a trim, with his dreadlocks looks like he has been out to pasture for awhile. Do you see his foot in the picture too? She said he was sound when they assesed him, was a little nervous but once tacked up he quited down. I'm going to talk to my hubby about him when he gets home I know time short with a truck coming. I just cant stop looking at him. Hubby is either going to say ok or he's filing for a divorce. Say a prayer for me and Colfax.

This horse is exquisite. He also looks pretty resilient, considering where he's at presently. He's the kind of horse you stop and stare at, and he has a sweetness about him, too. I personally love love love those lighter muzzles.
I wish I could see photos of him washed and brushed and running around his new pasture. I hope that's the future awaiting him because he deserves so much more than the hell he's been abandoned into. The slaughter pipeline has to be even more traumatic for the sensitive horses ... he looks like he'd be the type to know.
I see those photos and I see a horse trying so hard to catch the eyes that will save his life.
