QH/Arab Gelding

Hi all. I am trying to find a home for this horse. My girlfriend got this gelding this last fall. His name is Sunny and he is a 28 year old QH/Arab cross. He is sorrel with a white blaze. I hauled him for her. She got in a little over her head with this fellow. He was not in the best of shape when she got him. He has a bum knee but is still suitable for a small child at a walk. He is dead broke. He is costing her more then she can afford to keep him. She has had the vet out and he does need his teeth done however Northwest was not willing to do that for him at this time. He needs special care to get his weight up. I am not sure at this time what he is being fed but he is slowly gaining. My friend would like to place him in a forever home that can maintain an elderly horse. I am unable to take him for her so therefore I am reaching out to you guys to see if we can find him a home. I am dead serious guys this horse needs to find a home. He is free. I have not talked to my husband and it is not a sure thing because he is the king of NO'S but I may be able to keep him here until someone adopts him but I can not afford another horse. I have 3 and I am almost out of hay myself. I went out to look at him today, he is thin and needs his teeth done. I am reaching out. He needs to find a home that will take very good care of him. She can not afford his high needs at this time.

Just to add to this, the current owner is not receptive of just help, she wants him gone...I gave her a feeding plan today and asked her to keep him on it until a home could be found. He is a very nice older arab cross, a been there done it type who the owner claims is great with kids.

Does this poor boy need to go onto craigs list to get exposer? It seems that the horses that are cut and pasted on craigs lists get the most hits from RO. Not being mean but come on.
