Hi again

Devo and Fiesta went to their new home on Monday, the 7th. There are pics on the ABR board in that thread I posted on page 1. Charlie was moved to his foster home on 7/3. Charlie had his feet trimmed and teeth floated yesterday and is doing well. He went from being frightened and unhandleable to being better behaved and he's cooperating with his foster mom/trainer who is working with him every day. Once he is up to decent weight, he will be gelded.

We are still looking for a good permanent rescue minded home for him. He's still free and will remain free to the right home. If any of you know someone who would give a good home to a very, very nice Arabian stud (soon to be gelding), please let me know.

Yes, we still need donations to help keep him fed and cared for while he is in foster care.

marilyn2008, I will look on the ABR board for that thread, but when you get a chance would you be able to PM any info on Charlie after his foster mom/trainer has spent more time with him? I usually have good luck placing Arabs, especially if they are close by. I would be interested to know his progress. Thanks! Tasha

We have a prospective new home for Charlie but nothing is finalized yet. The woman is coming to see him on Wednesday. If all her references check out and we are satisfied with the care she is giving the horses she has now, and her property is adequate for him, then she will be taking him home at some point. If things don't check out, we will still be on the lookout for a home for him. Thanks so much for being willing to help place him.
