Are you gonna turn on the light so I don't get eye strain on top of serious lack of sleep?

Oh wait, she's not laying down, there are shadows....
MTA: She is standing resolutely and looks unperturbed.

oh my gosh, that is too cute. We have a jammie ridden adult in rubber boots, cleaning a pretty much imaculate stall, late at night. Peg and Beth, you are my idols. That's dedication, right there MTA: along with cleaning of clean stall, Sunday is now treated to a bucket full of pellets. I'm loving this....

For heaven's sake, someone just grab a pair of forceps and pull that lil foal out already! I need to get some sleep. Poor Sunday looks like she wants to out do "Octomom" with that big tummy!

She's quiet today......every time I look at the screen she's in the same, relaxed looking position.
Do you guys know how many foals she's had previously?

No idea, but we know that is all she 'did' in her previous home... for 21 years they owned her... so I am sure she is just tired inside... knowing what this big tummy means. but, she is happy enough, and we have plenty of food, I'm not sure that was always the case for her.... here's to it happening at 6 pm tonight.. Cheers! (I'm at work...) oh, btw, the official 'new moon' is at 4:15 ish this afternoon... maybe that will help?

I have a question and no laughing cause I really don't know. Would it help the foaling process to get going if she were taken for walks in the evening? Does a little excersize help?

Definitely no laughing... we've taken her out for a few walks. She gets to the end of the barn aisle, looks around, then pushes her way back in to her stall... It made sense to me too, but apparently not to Sunday.

If anyone is up in the middle of the night and takes a peek in on Sunday we'd appreciate it. Beth and I will be up checking every two hours, but we'd sure hate to miss baby being born!

She is certainly moving around more than usual. She keeps going to the door and sticking her head out. Is she hot/sweaty?

Hmm. I watched until a little after 2. She was spending a lot of time in the doorway. How long ago did her breathing get so labored? It's hard to see that on the cam.

She must be going out for a walk. I saw you have her tail wrapped....are we thinking positive thoughts? She didn't want you to catch her this morn eh? She is thinking..."I am grumpy....I am HUGE...and this baby better make up his/her mind!...BTW...where's lunch?"...LOL I will be checking all day!!! I have a little window on my puter set for her!

I already gave poor Beth a panic attack this morning. Sunday was laying down with one back leg up in the air, looked like she was pushing, her tail was up. She was in that position quite a while and kept looking at her back end, so I called and said head for the barn! By the time Beth got there, Sunday was standing. False alarm! Ugh!
