I just saw this on CL. Ads like this give me "There but for fortune . . ." moments. I can't help at this time, maybe later.
HELP! (santa rosa)

Anyone have a few bales of Alfalfa/Hay they can spare?? My hours got cut back a little this month at work and I could only cover my rent! I just started another part time job to make up for my loss of hours but I dont get my first pay check for 2 weeks! Im turning in my change for groceries for my kid tonight! I get no government help! I have 2 quarter horses that will be going hungry tomorrow if I dont figure something out soon! I have a few baby items for sale in the kids section to try and get money for a couple bales to last me! If you need baby clothes or a sports themed boys toddler bed or an infant play house let me know and they're yours!!! Not looking for hand outs here, I could pay you back in a month or so! I have had and cared well for my horses for 12 years now and am just goin through a tight patch!

I'll try to contribute something when I get paid. I'd hate to be in that situation.
I'm having a rough time myself, but I have a secure job and my brother is helping out a bit. God bless that man - he has never once suggested I get rid of the horses!

You know I responded a couple of days ago and I haven't heard anything back. Maybe he really is working hard at two jobs or whatever. I was just going to send him some money. Hopefully that will help out.

She got back to me and someone had already pre purchased some hay at the local feed store. She was very appreciative for the help.
