but woke up to this WET snow! Gonna be a sloppy mess - it's melting fast. Sad and happy it's probably the last real snow of the season.

Northern CA on the coast - and I'm only at about 2000' elevation! I was thinking we might get a little sleet, but by noon today we had almost a foot.

I'm living up in Kneeland right now.
Wow, Cynthia, you only got 3 inches up there? I woke up at about 1am Sunday morning and we had 2-3 inches. I thought it was pretty neat, figured that was it.
Half of it melted yesterday afternoon and then froze. Hauling water and hay across the crusty snow. Black ice on the roads this morning.

It is a small world PL. I was born and raised there. Lived there most of my life, minus 12 to 16 when I lived with my dad in So. Ca. Then back in Eureka until I moved here (WA) in 1994.
I figured it must be Kneeland. That's a nice Sunday drive in the summer/fall. Beautiful sight even if it is a nuisance. I think us PNW's are pretty tired of that white stuff this year! LOL
