We have a small issue up here... Telling people your a rescue vs horse trader.....Adoption fee vs selling for.... They don't want to here the word "RESCUE"....Think their getting a "feedlot, auction or haft starved horse"...Been called "one of those ripp off rescues"... Melissa (Clayton Livestock) has been bombarded with mares (Reg. and mix breeds), in foal /new born at side....6 in one week... She doesn't say anything about their past (rescue / auction), has her trainer evaluate them and CL say to many horses, need homes for mares due soon.... SO, what can we say..........Adoption fee or selling for ?? chatty

Chatty, in your part of the world and my part of the world, rescue is a dirty word. I'd say she's an honest trader. But truthfully, it's nearly impossible to sell a horse these days. Best to hang on to them until the market improves.

Talked to her this morning (about a Arab x draft, due in less than 30 days) ask for pic's... She told me : Reg. black QH w / 5 day old was sold...Reg. Arab mare due soon she let go for 250.00..... She's moving them with the words "FOR SALE".....1 to 2 horses a week.....But their coming in at 4 to 6 a week.... We have a KB up here, know hes picking up alot of these horses....He likes broke, reg. brood mares or fat horses.....The norm.... If unsold by auction time, she sell them..... chatty
