Homeless Veterans

Yuba and the surrounding area has a very large population of homeless veterans....
They did as our country ask of them and many came home 1/2 a person...Now they are homeless alcohol / drug additions and many, many medical issues....

They and many other areas in our nation have out reach progerams....They ask for donations of person needed items...Be it clothing or personal hygiene items....

Veteran Service hold what is called "Stand Down"....Homeless veteran can come get a good meal, shower, medical care and what ever their needs are....
Each county in California has a event....Each month a different county.....

Veteran Service Offices, Red Cross, Salvation Army and active men /women of all branches of the military are invalved.....
