SOS has 4 new horses that are listed. Reddy, Castle, Starlight & Squirt are all scheduled to ship on wednesday this week. Castle really needs someone patient & kind. Castle really looks sad, sweat marks all over him, cinch sores that are open & he is trying so hard to make friends with anyone that will have him at the feedlot. Starlight is a really nice broke mare, she just has some speed. She's no plug. And squirt...well Dave is feeding first cutting alfalfa & it has caused this poor little arab to literally poop water...so he was named him squirt. He is very friendly & gentle. He will make someone a great trail horse.
CASTLE
Castle is a 3-4 year old draft cross gelding. He is supposed to have 15 rides on him. I don't know who started him but they weren't kind. He has open cinch sores & looks like he was worked really hard for a young horse. We didn't ride him given he only had 15 rides. He is super gentle on the ground & LOVED the attention Kelli gave him. He is scared & trying hard to make friends at the feedlot. He has big bone & will make someone a nice BIG horse someday.
REDDY
Reddy is an approximately 21 year old Quarter Horse, he is supposed to be an old reining horse, he is very responsive & nice to ride. He has good ground manners & was easy to catch. He would be a great first horse for a beginner rider.
SQUIRT
Squirt is a nice older been there done that arab gelding. He is approx 17 years old. He rode really good at the feedlot. Neck reins, backs, moves out when asks. Loves people. I could hardly keep him out of the pictures he wanted to be near everyone. Nice gelding that will make someone a great friend.
STARLIGHT
Starlight is a really nice Quarter Horse mare, she neck reins, moves easily off your legs & is full of get up & go. She was too much horse for the previous owners smaller kids. She doesn't like spurs alot, she didn't buck but is quick enough to move out from under you. She was sound at the feedlot & no known history of being sore, she would be great for anyone looking for a little more horse.
