That black and white stallion lives by me. It's def. a rescue horse. he wants 2500 for the trailer. He is completely unrealistic. The horse needs a new owner badly. He wants 1200 for the horse(I couldn't find anyone to give it away to when I was trying to help him before). and 1100 for the round pen. but he has to sell the horse first because he doesn't have anywhere else to keep him. But the poor horse deserves a better owner and a chance. The guy lost his job so he can't afford to geld him.

I'm glad you'r looking out for him! Hopefully the owner will come to his senses before things get too desperate. How much is gelding in your neck of the woods? Would the owner be willing to accept donations for the operation? Or would he see that as devaluing the horse?

I told him about Norcal and their free gelding, but he thought it would cost too much to trailer him there. It costs $300. He doesn't have a job, but somehow he manages to get his horse good hay, clean water, cleans his round pen...but this is the weaving stallion. He just doesn't know how to train his horse, at all. He had to send him to a trainer to halterbreak him. The horse is not mean, just very lonely.
