Yep, and here they are!!!
took me some time to upload to webshots, and now they are ready!
Enjoy!
Gnorman and Gned, the Gnomes... getting a feel for our Cottage...
didn't need any fires to keep warm on THIS trip! :-)
The kitchen, my daughter Amy, and the stairs to the upper level (three more beds up there, along with Satellite TV! LOL... no, didn't use that feature this trip!)
Gnorman and Gned were tired from our long drive... they sat on the porch in the morning light... under the watchful eye of one of the kitties...
the whole front of the cottage... and Amy again (is she FOLLOWING me???)
my other daughter Jennifer on the right...
But... the Piece of resistance for Gnorman and Gned was the Gnome Cottage just for them!!!
on the INSIDE of the Cottage door, we were greeted with...
But what we CAME for was to RIDE!!! with Amy Jo, and here is Jackie (rodeo) too!
isnt' Casper a CUTIE pie? and Cornelius too!!!
Gnorman And Gned made saddling our guys up a bit slower... they kept sitting around on the hay!
But we finally got them in their saddles... and we were OFF!
Charlie didn't seem to mind us triple riding, even when I had to grab them to keep them from running around! Geeze... stay IN your seats boys!!!
The California Crew FINALLY ready to ride!
That is Beth on the left, on Charlie, Jeni next, on Diablo (CBER Vermont), Amy on Token (local rescue) and Peg (FRR2) on Bob Marley (who loves OR, and wanted to stay!)
Kinda blurry when those darn Gnomes are kickin' ya while you are trying to turn around backwards and take a pic!!!
the Gnome view
Jeni had some boot problems... thank Goodness for AJ and her 'easy on-easy off' pony! She saved the day by holding and helping Jen a few times!
(we'd put the Equipak Sole Guard on, but sadly it did not help... we needed boots and had to scramble to find odds and ends from our trailer that would 'do' for the ride! not pretty, but they got us there and back again!)
oh, and that is Sally on Blue Jean! :-) on the right...
in the beautiful clearing under the lines... we enjoyed some sun... and longer views...
that is Sally again next to me on the left... and Susan (paintedlady) ahead on her Casey
and our trusty trail blazer and protector from scary invisible creatures lurking in the bushes (or sometimes confused AS a scary creature in the bushes! LOL!!!) Bob
Amy on Token
Shortly after the sunshine... Blue Jean came up lame, so AJ, Sally, Peg and Jackie headed back, but Jen, Amy, Susan and I pushed ahead... and of course Bob
and we got to the park, with a bridge over the river... and a beach of sorts that we splashed in !!! Charlie was really wanting to roll... so he got to play sans ME... :-)
Casey loved it tho!
and I think Diablo enjoyed the view
THAT is the bridge (once in a lifetime is plenty for ME! it was not made for ponies... just sayin')
Bob loved a nice cool down!!!
but Token had to be convinced to step in... well... ok, so, he BACKED in!!!
Then we had a snack before heading back... over the BRIDGE... argh...
Gnorman and Gned hid as DEEP as they could GO!!!
but after we made it across... they came out for a photo shoot...
Then those who walked across got back ON... while Bob waited patiently
When we got home... the ponies got a WONDERFUL turnout in the upper meadow...
they got to explore the fire pit, the pens, and roll roll and roll again... then graze and enjoy the company of others...
Gned and Gnorman were ready for S'mores...
Gned says Gnorman knocked the chair over...
the pasture was Casper's fav place...
he even liked Gnor and Gned
maybe too much... !!! (go play out THERE Casper!) (yeah right, I'm leaving while YOU have a CARROT?
)
