of Little Joe coming off the feedlot.CBER name "Saxon" Prior to that he was a rez baby-completely unhandled, still working on the domestic inclination, although he is teaching my hubby that you don't catch a horse by chasing them-this usually follows Joe pointing out which areas of the fence need to be repaired next-he is SO helpful-I just love this guy. ;D If anyone has access to the previous board-can I get a copy of his lot pic? Thanks! Lisa

Saxon was always one of my favorites! 1-2 yrs old, Bay QH type stud colt. Does not act "studdy" on the lot. This guy does not appear to have been handled. He is curious and doesn't leave too fast when you approach him, but he will need some consistant handling. He is sound appearing and has solid body. Appears to be getting sick like some of the others. Must be gelded, follow up check required.

Thanks Tash! He has been very groovy to get to know-he is self reliant and smart, my plan is to take him in the mountains-he is very level headded and sure footed, I am sure he will do well.

He is a very nice looking boy. Does he have a brand on his hip? It kind of looks like it. He looks alot like my Teddie.

Thanks, guys, I am rather attached and quite enamoured. Bette-I think he is the same age as your "Baby" how is he coming along? What are you guys planning for him? No brand-my understanding of the rez babies-they are pretty much just feral. Vet agreed with my guesstimate of age at 1 1/2 when I got him. Another thing that I was wondering about-there was also a 'gelding clause' that no one ever checked up on. Lisa

Do you have a picture to refresh my memory? Are the draft crosses on the lot now the product of breeding Goliath? PS, just what is an American Warmblood anyway?

Our Baby still answer's to "Baby". He'll be 4 yrs old tomorrow. Got him stated on some ground work last year. Now Jamie and I have been knocking around where he need's to go .He isn't gonna be a problem , but his mom is gonna have heart failure . She STILL treat's him like he's her little boy..It's bad .
