I am not so lucky, but am getting a break on the hay buying by the ton.....delivered and stacked at about $9 a bale I am feeding the great green wheat hay, they go for it over the alfalfa and my vet says stay with it, so I will. I am planning on getting a half truck (about 240 bales) if anyone is interested maybe more and a better price?

agreed higher in sugar/carbs, lower in protein so better for the arabs-less stones. They get it only once a day the other feed is stable mix and my old ones get stable mix SR with 20/20 supplemental rice bran (king feeds) for those who need more fat and protien
