ok guys, I need some help here please. In order to make some money for hay this summer, I have started making Rythm beads as well. I know there are tons of them out there, but I suck at anything else crafty...
Anyways, I have put a few of them on ebay, and would appreciate it if you guys would have a look. If any boardmember buys a set at the starting price, I will donate $5.00 to Safer, Lone Oak, Founder Rehab, SOS, or the Angel Fund, you get to choose. If they sell higher, I'll donate 25%.
Since I'm not a rescue, I figured this is the next best way to make a few bucks, plus people might enjoy something pretty.
If anybody has any color ideas, let me know, these are just 5 of them, I have another 4 ready, but haven't put them on ebay yet.
If you type in 'Rythm Beads' my ebay name is 'joendusty', or I can post links when I get home this evening.
Thank you very much

sorry guys, had some minor emergency at home yesterday, and didn't get around to it. I can't access ebay or photobucket from work, so will have to do it when I get home today. There is always something........ Barb, I have purple beads, started a purple one about 4 times, but never liked it.... I'll get on it again.

Draft sizes...... I don't make the beads to go all the way around the horses neck, there is a string that can be adjusted, so I can just make the string longer to fit around a big neck :-)

How much would you charge? I cant go on ebay and buy from work and hubby would kill me if he thought I was buying stuff online. I thought these sounded like a good idea for Turtle, he literally is scared of his own shadow. Let me know prices & how long it would take for you to make one. Turtle's picture is on here somewhere so let me know if you have good color ideas for my little fraidy cat!

oh, your work is as 'nice' as mine.... no fun sites allowed, thank god they haven't banned this one yet....
Starting bid on ebay is $26.50 + shipping, I sold them at the Tack sale for $30.00 last weekend. It costs about $20.-$25.00 to make them, depending on the pendant. Let me see what color Turtle is. Does he have a color already? Halter, saddle pad, etc.?
They seem to make a big difference on Merlin. Just put them on in the round pen and worked him with them on, he is so much calmer, and has a nice rhythm.

Here is a picture of him saddled, might give you an idea of colors for him. Last weekend I had a cold bottle in my hand and I just walked up to pet him and you would have thought that he was going to jump out of his skin. He didnt like that bottle at all so I had to go get a halter and rub him down with my bottle and then everything was okay. So I think the beads would be good for him, as I have shaken and waved all sorts of stuff at him.

Gonna have to hold off for now on the rhythm beads for Turtle. Got some unexpected stuff coming up and went over and bought 4 ton of hay this weekend so that depleted the bank account for now.
