My Craigslist Gelding Leo's War Chant

This is the 21?yr old gelding, I took in last month, this pic was taken at his former home, the owner who was a 56 yr old man kept Leo as an only horse for about 15 yrs and did extensive trail riding, the owner died after a brief illness and Leo was alone and very depressed lost a few hundred pounds, the adult kids unsure what to do, had the neighbor put out grain, 3 50lb sacks a week. Yikes to fatten him back up. The adult kids decided Leo needed to go and his was listed as free on Craigslist. It turned out Leo lived within a mile from my house, so we took him. I detoxed him from the excessive grain, put him on a healthy diet of nutrena sr and grass/alf mix with supplements. Wormed and today was his big vet day at the Equine Hosp, teeth floated, 6 way, sheath cleaned. That was horrible looking and I was glad someone else did it.... Leo is my first gelding. I was hoping someone who has access to AQHA maybe can get info on him, of course I was not able to get his papers.

Found his info: LEOS WAR CHANT, foaled 5/01/1988, which makes him 21. His records were never changed when he was gelded as it still indicates him as a sorrel stallion.

I thank you so much Heidi....He's not a stallion but acts like one a little, maybe he was cut late in life.....lol
