My computer was hacked!!

I had someone on my computer yesterday and the day before.
I was on the computer at the same time and got to see where all they went on my computer. A message came up that a search FOR PICTURES OF THE CHILDREN was unsuccessful!!!!!

I only belong to and post on 4 boards - SOS, SAFE, Rescuesonly and Mustangfever.
I had links to my photobucket account on SOS and on SAFE. - Now deleted.
I do not make trouble for anyone.
I am on the boards ONLY to help horses in need.
I did not deserve to be hacked.

Be careful, there are SICKOS out there that think nothing of hacking into someones computer - Wanting pictures of your kids!!

I am NOT accusing anyone, but just warning you all that it does happen.

make sure if you have wireless internet you secure it. Someone got into my email and changed my passwords etc to EBAY and bought $2000 computer. I got it resolved but is scary!

I have a good anti-virus programme/malware/spyware/firewall etc.

Incidents like this, serve as a reminder, that NOTHING on your computer is safe/private.
Often you would not even know that your computer was hacked.

One's private pictures could be posted all over the internet, for the entire world to see.

snail mail is not safe either....a couple of years ago a check meant for blue cross never got there. It went to a private house, the woman there had checks printed in her name with my account number she spent over $8000, took my $5000+ and over drafted 2000+.They let it keep going to try and catch her but never did. It took almost 6 months for me to get my money back,I was living in Georgia and my account was in Missouri. for 2 months I was borrowing and getting advances at my job to make it. now I know why the old folks keep it in the mattress!!
