...... I found out about the free horses here locally ... the oldest one, 22 months, is Arab/Mustang (and likely a bit in-bred) cross and the guy has been riding him "for awhile". GAH! I know it's just around the little, nasty pen they are in but still ...
The others are 2 orphans who are still untamed that came from a local guy who raises wild horses (not BLM) for Big Loop roping. They are stock horse types. The 3rd one is a 6 month old Arab filly. All free for the taking!
What worries me is this woman's relative is the one who thinks he's a "trainer" and is the one who roped my Mustang Chief, snubbed him to a tree and beat him with a bar until he collapsed and called it "training".
If he gets wind of these horses being given away, he may try to bully his way onto the place (the woman is very timid and scared of him) and I fear what will happen to them! If anyone knows anyone in eastern Oregon or western Idaho that can take them, holler!
Anyone near that has room for a baby or two..
