He is on the San Diego Craigslist, about 1 hour or so away from me. If anybody is interested I can go get him, and possibly house him for a bit.
I sent the guy an email to get more details. Not sure how much in danger he is.
But he sure is gorgeous!

If you are looking for a fella that has a lot of flash, we may have your guy here and he's looking for a new home.
I'll be honest with you - there are (3) setbacks with this guy:
(1) He's stallion and has been bred (if you know horses, 'nuff said)
(2) He's only green broke, so needs more training to be ridden.
(3) He lost an eye to a stick many years ago. He's lived with that most of his life, and it is not an issue for him, although it may be a ghoulish thought for some people.
None of these little setbacks stop him from being a loveable cuss and one of the sweetest boys I've ever had to work with, and he is definitely an easy keeper.
He has a "to die for" tail that drags the ground, and is a proven producer if you are interested in breeding him and want to keep him sound. That's the only reason we haven't gelded him.
If you are an experienced horse person who has the time and ability to put a little work into this guy, he would make a fantastic trail horse and has wonderful movement.
He ended up at our place when his owner lost their home and it was either here or the auction, and with the missing eye, we worried about what would happen to him there.
Charlie deserves a good life and someone to love him up. We simply have too many horses and not enough time to do it ourselves.
To ensure he goes to a good home, we are asking a rehoming fee of $500 for him, but that may be negotiable to the right home.
Please respond by email if you are interested and leave me a phone number to call you back. Thank you!
