FREE to good home. I don't have lots of specifics at the moment, but what I can tell you is that he is a very friendly, easy going, kid safe guy. Healthy other than needing groceries. He was abandoned at my frineds boarding stable and they just want a good home for him. I will get more info tomorrow and try and get some pics. He has been used for just ueverything under the sun. I think he is a quarter or quarter cross. a bigger guy (about 15hh?) sorrel or chestnut in color.
Update 2/3/08
OK Opa is his name (like Opal with out the L)This guy is closer to 30 and is a Quarter/morgan gelding. My 14 yr old daughter rode him in just a halter and a lead rope and he did good. He has still got that get up and go. he wanted to run...lol. He is trained western. He had his teeth done within the last 6 months and has gaind a lot of weight since I last saw him in December. he still needs a bit more though. He would be good for kids but NOT beginners as he still has spunk. Would make a good 4-H horse. He has been ridden by kids at the boarding stable.
He does need his feet trimmed but they are not terrible. He neck reined well and responded good to leg pressure. Below are some pics but they aren't the greatest. He also has a nice western saddle and blanket but the people that own the boarding stable would like $100 for that...just to recoup some of the boarding fees.
