Find free washers and dryers to donate to rescues to wash horse blankets, bandages and such in.

We have a gas dryer, free to good home. Located in Ravensdale (near Maple Valley), WA.

I can do this for July....could you give me a list of the rescues who need washers/dryers? Or. would you want me to just find them for the chosen monthly rescue? Let me know...
Are we choosing duties for a month at a time and then choosing another duty for the next month, etc? Or?

I am finding free washers and dryers. I am posting them in the General section. No one seems to be biting. Does anyone here really need them or want them? Please give me more direction here...
Thanks!

I think we should contact some of the rescues by email to see if there are any takers... We could build a list of some of the rescues who need the washers/dryers and then locate items closer to the area in which the rescue operates...
This is also an idea for other supplies too, like fencing or troughs, etc...we could be the eyes and ears scavenging those items...

Still no bites on the gas dryer we have.....we'll even waive the good home requirement.

I will continue looking for washers and dryers and anything else that might be usable as you suggested (fencing or troughs)... If horse rescues know that there is one place here on Rescues Only to look for this available stuff then they will check regularly. How about this thread that I am posting in now? Maybe the reason no one has bit on your dryer is because they don't know that it is available in this thread. That is why I have been posting in the General area. If no one bites on any of the washers and dryers I have been posting, then maybe there is no real need? Aimee I think we should contact some of the rescues by email to see if there are any takers... We could build a list of some of the rescues who need the washers/dryers and then locate items closer to the area in which the rescue operates... This is also an idea for other supplies too, like fencing or troughs, etc...we could be the eyes and ears scavenging those items...

Aimee, what about a category devoted to things like this? Think it would be too hard to keep updated?

Like a bulletin board where all free things for rescue groups are posted? Maybe that would work. What does everyone else think? Aimee, what about a category devoted to things like this? Think it would be too hard to keep updated?
