Still looking for that perfect learning horse for Husband. Needs to be mid-teens, sound, large enough to carry a 320lb. rider plus tack, and trained to death. I do not have time to work with another horse, this one must be ready to go. Will not be heavily used, just plodding along in the neighborhood and occasional short trail jaunts over easy terrain. Also needs to be within a few hours drive of Southeast Idaho. Color (black and white leopard Appy or a Palomino) would be considered a bonus.

From what I read, Champ won't be able to carry a heavy rider, he is listed as arthritic. He is also probably over trained for what Brian needs. Dressage? No way. He needs a plodder, a horse who won't run away with him when he accidentally kicks him getting on and off or get antsy when Brian gives the poor horse mixed cues. Think old time Western Pleasure mount, maybe a draft cross.

Mustangappy- Champ may not be able to carry 320 lbs, but he is none of the other things you describe. He is a plodder, packer, babysitter, school master and loves to go on long walks on the beach holding hands.
