They sold a Zorse last year at the Tulare CA auction , if I remember right it went for something like 7K

are they like mules, they can't breed? what's different about them compared to horses? anything special that might make someone want one besides just being cool?

I've seen the zebra/horse cross for sale now and then- I read they are fertile about as often as a mule... but zebra's aren't particularly trainable from everything I've read from people who train them for circus type work- and mules have their moments - not sure I'd want one, but they look cool. I'd caution anyone who wants one to try training a burro first, because I think they're harder. CW
