Sometimes my quarter horse gets an upset tummy, I take all his feed away and make him a warm bran mash real soupy. The next day he is back to himself, Then I go to a normal diet and keep an eye on him. Brenda

Try oatmeal... it's what I gave to Tarkh when he was sick and didn't want his normal food. Warm oatmeal with apple grated on top... he gobbled *THAT* right up!

She has been on a mash with rice bran and vet said that the rice bran might have went bad. so she is eating hay!! So that is good news. She wouldn't eat hay before, so this is good I guess. I will post more in morning. Thanks all!

angel ate almost all the hay that I gave her last night, guess she just got bored with the mash so she is eating hay. Not as much as I would like to see her eat, but at least it is something. She did eat some grain last night also, going to keep an eye on her today and see how things go.
