Dave and Sharon Linarez (Faraway Transport) have brought a number of horses to California this past year. They've done a wonderful job and are very reasonable. They operate out of Yakima but haul all over.
Ack! I'll have to post their number in the morning too. I have Sharon's cell phone saved in mine. Too late to call and ask for the business number. oops.

I wonder if Sharon and Dave would haul to Texas? I can vouch for them - they are incredible. They have transported five horses to me in Oregon. They know what they are doing and do it with safety, kindness, reasonable rates, and with the horses' best interest in mind.

I also used Dave & Sharon to deliver Bam last year, excellent people and great service. They had Bam, Blackjack, Linda and another mare can't remember her name in the trailer. After unloading Bam and Blackjack and put them in the back, they unloaded Linda and the other mare to rest and get a bite to eat and drink. They stayed about an hour or so for them all to rest before continuing on to Calif from our place in Nevada. They were VERY gentle with all of them and they all looked in great shape. If I ever needed to haul a horse again I would use them first and very reasonable priced also. The trailer was cleaned at our place and fresh bedding put down, they did excellent!

Katie is great with the horses- she can even load the tough ones.

Katie has spots open going from Kent area to Yakima area and coming from Yakima to Snohomish and vicinity- call her. Transport does not have definite date but will be by January 21st, 2007. Her phone number is at the top of this thread.
