Yes, she's gorgeous, would look great in the H/J arena.
Many times, stiffness in the knee can be "worked out" simply by letting her warm up. If she hasn't been worked recently, and she's got some arthritic changes, it would take a much deeper lameness evaulation before determining that she can't be a riding horse in the future.
Supplements and a reasonable, slow, back-to-work ramp-up program following a lameness eval may be all that is needed to restore this beauty to her full potential.
I'm pretty certain God did not intend for Bordeaux to end up on a dinner plate.

Just received the following....I'm so sorry guys....I am in shock.
"There was a shipment this morning that we did not have advance notice of (empty truck on the way to fp), and we lost Bordeaux and a lot of bucking rejects that had just come in.
The appy mare Powdered Sugar was held back at the last minute, so mom and baby are still together, and still available. The flo was going to ship the mom and if the baby wasn't placed, run him through the auction coming up. Still could happen, as there is another truck coming next week. There are a lot more preg. mares coming in from the bucking "people" in the next several days."
No date yet for next shipment.....will post as soon as it's available. Gods speed to Bordeaux and the rest........

I'm pretty certain God did not intend for Bordeaux to end up on a dinner plate. In light of my pre-truck comment above, I'm pretty certain that God will be pi$$ed about this turn of events. ...especially since she looks PREGNANT to me....what a stupid tragedy.

This just makes me totally sick These pregnant mares, those baby buckingstock rejects, old faithfull horses who gave their good years to their former owners....all gone or leaving. It just isn't right. To Anyone even considering a pregnant buckingstock mare I can just say one thing. Go for it. You will be rewarded many times over. A picture says a thousand words so hopefully this says it all..... Sorry for taking up space in Bordeaux's thread. I just want people to know even the buckingstock are not "rejects". And sorry the pictures are so big. I don't know how to make them smaller.

Bordeaux never got the chance for a new life. I'm so sad we let her down... Bordeaux, you are in my prayers, sweet girl.
