Josie is was one of Hytyme's First CBER rescues. She has over 30 years old, a little Palomino mare just sweet as pie. Jim had to put Josie down last week as she could not get up after she went down. Josie was a the sweetest gal ever and I know everyone at Hytyme is going to miss her terribly. The staff and visitors were all extremely attached to this girl that always had the brightest spirit. There is a big empty spot where she used to be, she was known as Grandma Josie. RIP sweet girl!

So sorry to hear about this. I'll bet Jim and crew are devastated. I'm glad she was with Jim at the end.

I remember Josie- she was such a sweetheart. It was horrible that she ended up in the feedlot. Thanks to Jim and Sherry for protecting and loving Josie for her last days. She had good food, good friends, lovies and scritches for the rest of her life.
Godspeed.

The first time I met Josie, I thought she had gotten out of the pasture. Turns out she was Jim and Sherry's Farm Dog. Her list of admirers is long. I'll miss her.
