~ Shipped to slaughter 4/15/07 ~BAIL: $650 20 -22 year old, 14.1h, palomino mare. Good on the ground, easy to handle, gentle in the halter and respects your space. While this horse is older, she is gentle and kind, she is not suited for the inexperienced rider. She might be quieter off the lot, but her assessment at the lot is one that is gentle but that requires an experienced owner. She is herd bound to one other horse and when she was separated from her buddy she was handful. Please contact Heidi Antonie (CreeksideAQHA@aol.com) for more information. PLEDGES: $150 ~ needed $500
$25 patrolhorse (moved from Olympia) $25 patrolhorse (first pledge b4 moving Olympia's pledge) $25 crum $25 tate $25 agilitygal $50 lisam (moved from Olympia) $175 total pledged, need $475, HAS HOME OFFER!!!!!!!!!!!

That little dumpling on her is a doll!!! This looks like a great mare who is probably petrified!!! It's amazing how these horses will completely do a 360 (Attitude wise) when in a safe environment!

In my personal experience Palomino's are the best family horses, this girl is just scared to death on this lot. Please someone you wont have any regrets.

What is the deal with the "Ponies in Tutus"? It crops up in the wierdest places; I saw it on Reggie's thread as well. Is it a virus? Or a hacker?
Modified to add: I just checked and "ponies in Tutus" shows up whenever the letters "Ponies In Tu-tus" are used, like in this horse's name "P e c an", or in "res p e c ts your space". What the heck is happening?
Modified again: yup, it put in the replacement where I typed p e c (but didn't put spaces between the letters). P E C, are you having a joke on us?

If anyone is considering her- please let us know so we can get to work on her bail. She deserves so much better than this and time is short.

Even under the fears of the lot, this girl maintains her cool and safely carried a child. I bet she would be great once off of the lot. I know my horses would be a horrible handful on the lot, but they are a sweet as can be at home.

She looks pretty darn calm in her picture. Most horses are herd sour especially in this situation- can you blame them? I would love to help donate to her bail if only we had a home offer.

She most likely is great for kids or someone looking for a shorter horse, she's only14hh, and she is a palomino...20-22 years of service to her family, then dumped...........

I hope this helps...
If you all can bail Pecan, I will transport and quarantine. I will need to place her in a new home once she is ready to go and I will keep you all posted.
Thank you to Tate who mentioned to me that she is worried about Pecan.
