It still needs to be ok'd through Sam. Horses rear for a reason, just need to fiqure out why she is doing it. No big deal. I certainly see no need to sign her death warrant over it. Check out this video of my friend Paul. He is a trainer in Japan. www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKkl8jbe0Ks

Dean, thank you!!!!!!! I agree there has to be a reason, she would not be this old and still be around if she was a dangerous horse.

Good job, PEC. She sure deserves a better chance at assessment.

I was just thinking of this video! Thanks for posting it. That is amazing. . .there were some other ones of him as well working with some really spoiled/dangerous horses. Good luck, PEC. Get into her head and help her get it figured out. Please take care.

Thank you Dean. This has bothered me so much since I noticed it earlier in the day. Now she has some hope.

I'm so sorry we lost Sassafrass.
I so wish we could have helped...
May the person who was responsible for sending her to the lot burn in hell...

This is heartbreaking!! "may the person who sent her to the lot burn in hell" well that's not who I wish would............ absolutely no reason for this.

This is horrible! She was probably hurting and couldn't take a rider on her back. God Bless you Sass, may you have a loving, green and peaceful life.

"May the person who was responsible for sending her to the lot burn in hell..." ...on a bed of icepicks...with ice cold water perpetually held just out of reach... (No, I'm not vindictive ) She may have been taken to auction by an UN-informed person or chuck may have told the owner she would surely adopt as he has in the past. I don't like it when people don't keep they're animal companions for life but many are just plain ignorant to what they go through....chuck is not, he knows what happens all to well, now there is a well deserved burn in hell.
