We were just advised that Moora died this Saturday. They think her hips went out and possibly broke her back. It was something that was bound to happen, and thank God she suffered very little. Thanks to the Boysun family for giving her the best home she ever had. We miss her deeply, but she will always be with us in spirit. Jim i38.photobucket.com/albums/e117/HYTYME/Moora3-3-07001-1.jpg

Miss Moora will be sadly missed, she was a true gentle gaint and always had the best spirit, after being rescued off the feedlot it was apparent that Moora had bad issues with her hips, she was happy and didn't seem in any pain and was happy to greet everyone who came to Jim's (Hytyme) house. She was the first draft horse my husband met in person and started him on a love of drafties I am sure will last a lifetime. We were all elated when Moora got adopted by The Boysuns to live out the rest of her life as the sweetest pasture pet ever. Rest in peace sweet girl.

Oh, I am so sorry for the loss of this big sweet girl, I remember her well from the lot and was so thankful that Hytime took her in and made her comfortable and gave her a chance to find a place to live out her days in peace. She deserved that, being the nice drafty that she was. I was sooooo thankful she didn't have to get on the truck, bless everyone involved in her rescue and care. I am hoping she is galloping strong and free in the pastures of horse heaven...

Thank you everyone....the Boysuns are heartbroken. (As a final farewell, the family chose to bury Moora by her favorite tree in the pasture where she spent her final months.) After the time needed to heal from their loss, they have decided they would like another rescue horse. So, thank you Moora for opening the door a little wider for the world to see that rescued horses have alot to offer.....
