Yes those TB's are oh so lovely. I think my next one will come from TBFriends though - they have some exquisite rescues off the local tracks and auctions - and they are so close. NOt such a long ride.....

Hi, this is Sue. I finally found my way here with the help of some other board members. I'm very new to this sort of message board, today is my first time ever. I really want to make Tara a family member, but unfortanetly am short on funds right now. I have been approved for $400 from the Angel fund, which will be paid back at the end of this month. I need help with the rest of her adoption fee and possibly the QT fee. Since Tara has to be in QT for a month, I would most likely be able to pay the QT fee at the end of November. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I posted this on the ABR board already, but will post here too. I just PP'd $15 for Tara.

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to give an update on Tara. She has come up lame, possibly due to a stifle injury. She will probably be best suited in a home that can take her on as a pasture pal. She needs a new home offer and bail, etc.
I'm sorry to have to post this...

I think from what I saw from the Alex Brown Board Tara only has 250 left.. message 104. I am not for sure this is the correct amount...

I'm sneaking a message in from work....I want to thank everyone for your support and efforts in helping me adopt Tara. Unfortunately I am unable to adopt a horse that has lameness issues. I wish I had property of my own, but I have to board my horses and can't afford to board a pasture pal :-( I am very sad about her not being sound, I had hoped to adopt her and suprise my daughter with her as a Christmas gift. I'm going tomorrow to see another CBER horse and maybe she'll be the one to come home with me.

We are asking for another adopter to come through for Tara on the AB board. I hope time has not run out.

Aleta,
You really are an angel. We don't know the status of the horses yet and probably won't know until tomorrow, but in the meantime, thank you so very much for all you are doing to help the horses.
